The UAE-based firm calculated the average monthly rent on a two bedroom apartment in Dubai in such popular areas as Dubai Marina, DIFC and Downtown between February 6 and December 6 and compared it to rent in major cities, including Paris and London. Here are the results:

What can a two-bedroom apartment in Al Barsha, Bur Dubai or Deira with a price range of $2,000 to $2,600 get you?

One-bedroom apartment in the 7th arrondissement in Paris. It is located on the bank of the Seine River and includes tourist attractions, such as the Eiffel Tower.

One-bedroom apartment in New York’s East Village. Known for its diverse community, the area represents the home of many artistic movements.

One-bedroom apartment in London’s Covent Garden, where popular sites, such as the Royal Opera House and Theatre Royal, are situated.

Three-bedroom apartment in Mumbai’s upmarket neighbourhood Cuffe Parade. The district is known for its high-rise buildings, most of which are taller than 30 storeys.
