Rents across Dubai have continued to rationalise since the beginning of the ongoing year, making renting a much less taxing affair for people living in the emirate. But despite rents becoming affordable, there remain people who are constantly on the lookout for ultimate bargains on rental units. But these people need not fret much, as Bayut lists the popular localities where one can rent the cheapest one-bed apartments.
International City
Per data collected over the course of third quarter of the year, International City turned out to be the most affordable among popular residential communities for renting one bed units. The average 1-bed apartment cost AED 49,000 t rent for a year in Q3, putting the locality at the top of our affordability list. International City is an easily accessible community having adequate facilities for a hassle-free living. It is a short walk away from the wonderful Dragon Mart, so retail therapy is readily available.
Al Nahda
Al Nahda lies in the northern part of the emirate and is close to the city’s border with Sharjah. The popular and populous residential community is home to a number of parks, schools, malls, mosques and other avenues of leisure and entertainment. It is also extremely easy to access, making it highly popular with families. One-bed units in Al Nahda cost AED 53,000 to rent on average in Q3.
Dubailand
Dubailand is becoming the obvious answer to questions related to affordability combined with high quality of living. Dubailand has climbed up the popularity charts in a short span of time thanks to the quality of units and amiable environment the developers have made available in the community. On average, a 1-bed apartment in Dubailand was being rented out for AED 57,000 per annum in Q3. Many consider the price a bargain when considered along the facilities available to residents in the locality.
IMPZ
The International Media Production Zone is situated in Dubai’s south-eastern corner along with other impressive communities such as Jumeirah Village Circle, Jumeirah Village Triangle and Dubai Sports City, right on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. The peaceful environment and the distance from the hustle and bustle of the city make it an ideal living quarters. The average rent for 1-bed unit in the area in Q3 remained close to the AED 59,000 mark.
Dubai Silicon Oasis
Tree-lined roads, landscaped roundabouts and manicured lawns are synonymous with Dubai Silicon Oasis. Apartments here boast of high quality and the community on the whole is laced with amenities of all kinds. Average 1-bed unit in the community cost close to AED 62,000 to rent on average in the outgoing quarter.
